Invited by the Swiss Embassy in Turkey, Layla Ramezan is performing in Ankara and Istanbul to mark the centenary of Swiss-Turkish relations. Two concerts focused on innovation and cultural dialogue.
Layla Ramezan's ambitious and prestigious project, 100 Years of Iranian Piano Music, is beginning a third stage. Once again, the Franco-Swiss pianist of Iranian origin pays tribute to a unique repertoire, the fruit of the encounter and dialogue between East and West. For this new album, the Bird Conference, a masterpiece of 12th century Persian mystical poetry, is at the heart of the program.
